Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough Along With Dry Mouth And Lips

Hi, I have been suffering from a dry cough thas comes and goes with colds or flues. It gets very severe when I am ill, its also accompanied by dry mounth and lips in the evening. I managed to rule out asthma with my GP. This cough draggs forever and I deel that I have not recovered from it for pastv12 month, please advice, thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Dry cough can the cause of dry mouth and dry lips.
Dry cough can be caused by irritation in the throat.
Thus, the factor which is causing irritation has to be removed.
Cough suppressants are required to suppress the cough.
In the meanwhile you can use glycerine based syrup to provide relief to throat mucosa.
Hydration should also be maintained to avoid dryness of mouth and lips.
