Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Headache

My son is complaining of headaches and dizziness each night before going to bed. They are making him feel quite sick and I am giving him paracetamol each night. He often gets headaches but is often fine all day and than of an evening when getting ready for bed or just getting into bed complains of a terrible headache making it difficult to sleep. At times he gets dizzy or spinning when he closes his eyes and feels he needs to keep them open.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

I would like to know if his headache is associated with vomiting sensation or not? Does his headache worsens on exposure to light and sounds? If yes, he may be having migraine.

Dizziness may be associated with migraine. Concerning dizziness- is his dizziness more in standing position? Does dizziness worsens with neck movements? Please follow up with details so that I can answer this well further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ajay Panwar, Neurologist
