Suggest Treatment For Discoloration Around My Hairline With Itchiness

I have major discoloration around my hairline. My hairline area is several shades lighter. It itches very bad and after washing I can literally peel off large pieces of skin. How can I treat this problem? i have tried rubbing vitamin e oil on the area, it only leads to more itchiness

The long term discoloration around hairline with itchiness suggest possible fungal or bacterial infection most likely. Kindly visit an expert dermatologist for further care, till that time follow basic steps for better relief at this moment:
- Keep the face clean with antiseptic liquid or soap wash
- Do gentle mopping and do not rub the face with towels
- Avoid excess or prolong sun exposure
- Avoid any of the commercial preparations or cream to apply
- Avoid bleach use if doing so
- Do not get shaving at barber shop, as that may manifest the infection
- Application of turmeric paste or aloe vera gel at home 3 times a day

Discuss the need of anti-fungal and antibiotic medications with your dermatologist when you visit them.
