Suggest Treatment For Difficulty With Speech In Children

My son had ear tubes inserted when he was about three, he is now ten having speech issues and his hearing isn t well. He complains of headaches. The ENT doctor said he has a hole in his ear that the tube left when it fell out. Is this true?? Should I let this woman cover the hole?? She is the same doctor who inserted the tubes when he was three, is she trying to cover her mistake???
