Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Speaking And Focusing In Kids

Dear Doctor, My 2 yrs old niece yesterday suddenly after waking up found difficulty in speaking and focussing on things or seeing....she was very lethargic too...it lasted for 2 hrs...and then she was normally behaving but today in afternoon she again started behaving in strange manner she was not able to speak properly and see it laso lasted for 1 and half hrs...plz help..

Hi... By what you quote this appears to be absence seizure.
In absence seizure the patient doesn't respond and has difficulty in speech and has a starry look. I suggest you to do an MRI brain and next time this episode occurs you should immediately report to er. Take care.
