General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your short and specific history of having dermoid in left ovary, now having sharp pains in lower left abdomen, increasing on taking a step forward as you have explained.
The history is indicative of a possibility of torsion of the ovarian dermoid or sudden bleeding or rupture.
This may be an emergency.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult a Doctor at ER so that a clinical evaluation can be done as well as Urgent Ultrasonography and CT scan along with tests of blood and urine.
All this will lead to a proper diagnosis.
May need emergency surgery if there is torsion or so.
Do not take anything orally till advised so.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
