Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of depression, memory loss and talking difficulty . Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like upper respiratory tract infection, when infection from upper respiratory tract get spread down the respiratory tract to the latynx especially when left untreated or due to low immunity. Taking difficulty can also occur due to stress and anxiety , lack of saliva in mouth , asthma and chest infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day and apply warm compresses on neck . Consult psychiatrist for depression . Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist for voice loss .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
