Hello

Social Security is a big government agency. They use a complex legal system to decide who deserves benefits, and you can only win benefits if you meet their strict definition of "disabled."

There are two types of Social Security Benefits: SSDI and SSI.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) pays you benefits if:
(1) You are disabled and
(2) you have limited income and resources.

For getting Social Security Disability benefits for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) you should talk to California Department of Social Services.

it is not possible to diagnose from here. it will not serve your purpose. every country and state have got there policy for giving such certificate. it is generaly some cmos who have been empowered and they haveto form a board who will examine and follow the guideline issued by department for each type of disability. so youhave toenquere from local health authority.
