Suggest Treatment For Dementia Leading To Disturbance In Vision And Speech

My husband has been diagnosed with dementia. The Ct scan shows some shrinkage. He was to geriatrics where they tested him. His cognitive has failed to that of less then a 5 year old. They took his licence away from him about 2 months ago. He was still driving at the time, and was doing okay, with much coaching. He gets turned around a lot, or at least that is what he is calling it. He can get turned around so easily, in familiar places. His night vision is terrible. He cannot make conversation, or even play a part of conversation, for he appears lost and incoherent. It has progressed now to the point, that he is even getting easily distracted in eating, where as he can choke very easily, if he doesn't fully concentrate on his eating. He is 62 years old. When i first noticed the changes happening in my husband, he would be himself on arising in the mornings, but it would dwindle to about supper time, then increasing to 2, in the afternoon, to noon, etc. and now to the point that he wakes up as confused as he was when he went to bed. I really don't know what to expect any more, and i am very afraid of what is next.
