Hi Doctor, I used Veet wax strips for sensitive skin on my upper lips two weeks back. I believe i over-waxed the area, very suddenly it inflamed with red patches! I applied some turmeric paste on it since its a well known natural remedy..and to my dismay it turned brown! I seeked medical advice immediately and i was given an ointment and tablets. The inflamation subsided after the intake of the tablets. But that skin area became brown and over days started to flake off leaving it white. And after the very next day it turned black! Its a blck patch now...i have my normal skin in between though! I had applied red sandal and honey on the advice of my friends and relatives. Met a dermatologist yesterday and she gave me another ointment and vitamin c tablets. She is said she cant be sure if it would go completely! I m totally worried about this black patch on my face and it is very prominent. Please advice me on the same. Please Tell me if any natural remedies work. Will this remain forever? Does concealers work..can i use it over the pigmented area? I have dry skin and please advice me with the max possible information. Thankyou Doctor.
