Suggest Treatment For Dark Patches Under The Armpit

Hi, my underarm skin got darker after I waxed, it was red at the beginning and then it turned into brown (shadow) , I tried not to use deodorant as much as I could and I m using vitamin C cream which I know helps in renewing the skin , the problem has been for 2 months and the darkness didn t go away, what I have to do ??

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dark patches under the armpit which is mainly due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cream containing kojic acid 2-3 times a day. Apply mashed potatoes to avoid excessive darkness. You should visit dermatologist once and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid exposure to sunlight and drink plenty of fluids. Take diet rich in green leafy vegetables and take multivitamins in diet.
