Hello and welcome to HCM,
A 5 inch ovarian cyst can cause lower abdominal discomfort, menstrual disorders etc.
However, numbness is unlikely to be caused by an ovarian cyst.
There is probably some other reason for numbness and discomfort that you are experiencing.
Ovarian cysts are not dangerous but a regular follow up is necessary to assess its size and development of any complication like hemorrhage, twisting etc.
It is advisable to follow up the cyst at 6 monthly interval and it is unlikely to cause any ill-effect on pregnancy.

Thanks and take care
