Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Cyanotic Lips And A Brief Loss Of Consciousness
2 year old swinging in 85 degree weather for 20-30 minutes maybe shorter. Got of the swing having cyanotic lips and a brief loss of consciousness (unknown time). Became conscious and vomited once, emesis undigested food. Return to normal baseline. Has no known cardiac anomalies.
It is best that your child is sent for a check with the doctor. Any cyanosis and loss of consciousness warrant a thorough visit to rule out important conditions.
Also, being under the effect of the high temperatures may cause the child to have heatstroke which can be a serious condition so it is best to make sure he is well and well hydrated as well.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
