Suggest Treatment For Cramps, Headaches And Lethargy

I have clear liquid that smells acidic, similar to urine when wearing a tampon on my heavy days (other symptoms include cramps, headaches, being tired... the usual heavy days). What is this liquid and what can I do? It s embarrassing it soaks through my underwear.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You may need to do a gynecological exam and rule out increased secretions as the cause of your symptoms and also a fistula (communication) between the urinary system and the uterus or vagina.

The doctor may require certain tests and examinations if a fistula is suspected as the cause of the fluid that runs through and causes you to be wet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
