Suggest Treatment For Coughing And Itching In Throat

Dear Doctor,

I am suffering from throat problems like slight cough,itching in throat frequently. But I do not have white spots,no breathing issue, no tonsiles, no fever. But it is happening with intervals.

Pl. suggest treatment.

Your symptoms are in keeping with allergies. There are different possible sources of allergies, it could be related to dust, pollen, animals, foods.

Avoiding the source of the allergen would be helpful. In addition , an antihistamine would also help to relieve your symptoms.

There are drowsy or non drowsy antihistamines that can be used. They should be available over the counter.
