Sir I m prince raj....I m suffering from cough and throat infections.... About 6months . jb khansi hoti hai to sath me jama hua thuk bahr aata haii...Maine kafi medicine li sath sath cough sirup v pi ..bt sahi ho ke phir ho jata ..I mean purn rup se sahi n ho raha...sir so plzz....give me best advice...jisse mai sahi ho Jau....ty sir...

Hello, Thanks for the query.
If you have repeated throat infection and cough, it is essential to take a proper full course of any suitable antibiotic. Cough syrups are more for reducing the coughing. Some expectorant preparations are given to help expectorate excess sputum. I have no idea what different antibiotics were taken by you. Koi bhi antibiotic loge to usako kam se kam 5 se 6 din lena jaruri hai. Now I am advising you to take Cefixime 200 mg (EXTACEF 200) twice a day for 6 to 7days. Can be taken before or after food. Plus take TUSQ -Dx cough syrup for 10 to 12 days, 2 to 3 tsf three times a day. Also do gargling with warm water and salt twice a day. If with this treatment also there is no relief, then please see a competent physician and get necessary examination and investigations done. Do not neglect. Thanks
