Suggest Treatment For Cough And Fever In An Infant
Hi , my baby is almost 4 months old and suffering from cough n fever since last 4 days, doc prescribed taxim -o (4 ml twice daily for 7 days) along with vit B syrup and for cough asthaline syrup (2.5 ml thrice daily). Temperature is normal but he is still coughing. Should I wait or add any other medicine? please advise.

From the drugs, your baby is being treated for a bacteria respiratory infection.He will get over it progressively.I will advise:
-You continue with the drugs as prescribed
-Add a steroid like celestene drops for 5 days
-Avoid cold, dust and smoke
