Suggest Treatment For Corneal Ulcer And Eye Infection

My wife had a kamra implant in an eye. She developed e coli and a corneal ulcer. The doctor removed the kamra after a week and her eye infection is worse. She has a loss of sight. All she sees is a white cloud. I am her husband looking for answers on the Internet. Her doctor cannot seem to solve this eye disease.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

A corneal ulcer is an ominous condition and often cause permanent vision loss.

Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated. Stronger antibiotics are required. A corner scraping may also be required.

In severe cases, corneal transplantation will be the only option.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
