Suggest Treatment For Constipation For A 6-week-pregnant Woman
I am 6 weeks pregnant and have severe constipation. Unable to poop for past 4 days. Took lactulose before bedtime for 2 days but no help. Taking fiberous food and having loads of liquid still no good. Is it fine to apply a lot of pressure during poop?

You may use Movicol 2 sachets a day to help you with easier bowel movement. Movicol works only in the bowel and is not absorbed so it is safe to use during pregnancy. It may take a day for it to work.
If Movicol is not helping enough then you will need to see your doctor.
