Suggest Treatment For Constant Pain And Swelling In Joints Of Thumb And Hand

Hi - Over the last 3 weeks or so I have been having a great deal of constant pain in the joints of my thumb with swelling of the joints..I also have these same symptoms, but not as painful, in my left hand..same pain, etc. I have osteo in my pinky and was diagnosed through blood tests, etc., with CTD - moderate. I really appreciate your concern, the given information could be suggestive of arthritis condition of joint although permanent cure is doubtful but condition can be managed with NSAID if this is the arthritis, in my opinion underlying cause of pain needs to be confirmed first, steroid can be tried but one should be qualified for that, you have not mentioned the age and gender else something different could be thought hope this information helps.
