Suggest Treatment For Cold Hands And Feet In An Elderly Person
Hello, My mother who is 89 has just gone to sleep after feeling chilly (especially hands and feet) and with some dizziness. She spoke clearly and cheerfully; no pain but said that she had read that heart attacks happen without women realizing it. Now I wonder if I should have done something (more than the heating pad I gave her). She has generally in good health and has no history of heart problems but does take statins for cholestoral (stable for years) and a baby aspirin daily. She is usually self-effacing and not a worrier so this was unusual. She has her medical alert wristband on, and a bell to call me. My plan so far is to let her sleep, check once in a while and encourage her to see her physician tomorrow morning. Thanks if you can advise me.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if she is taking all the medicine regularly and not having any serious symptoms then it is nothing to worry, it is common in geriatric age that they sleeps little more and it is nothing to worry, let her sleep and no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
