I have chronic knee pain. It s on inside of knee, have been to Dr. had couple shots, helped some. Pain Meds don t even touch it. any ideas? Really hard to walk sometime. Have trouble with steps, slops and uneven ground. By the time I get through grocery store all I can do to walk.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to osteoarthritis. X ray of knee joint will be needed to rule out this. If you send a picture of your knee X rays then it will be more helpful in identifying the condition. If it is in early stages then conservative treatment like injection of hyaluronic acid, viscous supplements, corticosteroid injections, braces etc will be helpful. But if it is in late stages then total knee placement is the better choice.
