Hello I am 41 years old dealing with many health issues. I have MS since 2000/2001. Due to the MS I have symptoms everyday that impacts my ability to life a life that has vey little quality left. Chronic fatigue daily. Extremely sensitive to heat. It has given me chronic pain, that is so bad that some days to weeks I need help getting to and from the bathroom, need help bathing and sometimes needs help being feed. Along with nerve damage in my eyes, double vision, blurryness, lost eyesight a few times.( that was very scary). I suffer from memory impairment. I tend say something but it comes out wrong. When writing I tend to write backwards or it makes no sense at all. I fight every night with Insomnia. I have Neuropathy in both of my legs from my toes to my upper calf. Valley fever with pulmonary coccidioidomycosis infection . Pulmonary nodules(are found inside my right lung, with right hilar adenopathy. Hade Pneumonia. Has Osteoporosis. Cholerytitis. I continue have sever joint pain, urinarytract problems. Since the fluid covering the brain and spinal cord gives me concerns. Yet everything I am dealing with could be caused by a number of other issues and with these doctors not knowing about Valley Fever I can t even get the anitifungal medicaltion. With having a weakened immune system I pray that at least one doctor could step up to the plate and put me on the medication. I get what they call ulcers on my feet, I call them blood blisters, I get a blister on my foot, feet when they start it looks like a normal blister but a lot bigger and the fluid in side is filled with blood. I am dealing with painful swollen joints my ankles blow up in sizes if on my feet for more then 20-30 mins. I do get the same in my knees but not as offen. To bring the swelling down I raise my legs above my heart with ice. I often have night sweats and that is followed by chills, low grade fever, really bad head aches. Gallbladder was filled with gallstones, which was removed but left me with Pancreatic. My most recent diagnosis is Gastritis. The gastritis was found in the body and in the Antrim of the stomach. Biopsies of the Antrim and of the stomach were obtained and sent to the pathology. Retained food in the body and the Antrim of the stomach. Retroflexed views revealed a hiatal hernia. Told me that my stomach isn t producing acid to break down any food that I eat. I am not eating a lot. Breakfast would be a shake with protein powder and fresh veggies and fruits. Snatch or lunch would be banana, pairs, strawberries. Dinner just about the exact same, sometimes I will have mashed potatoes, or roasted turkey organic. Drinks only water that has ph of 7.9%. No matter what goes in my body my abdomen is feeling like I am bring stabbed over and over, I have to roll into a fetal position. I try to eat as little as possible due to the pain factor. Within a period of 4 months eating this diet I have went from 157 to present 238. With the health issues that I am dealing with could I have the gastric bypass surgery as a option for my health. I continue to gain weight and I don t know what to do. I do my chair MS workout but nothing is helping and I am continuing to get worse. My other problem is that I am on SSI once a month, I can t qualify for medical, because I earn $200 to much so my father is my care giver. I am going to see if I can qualify for SSDI as well and see if I can be put under my dads SS and get to use his health insurance. If I can get a doctor or doctors to say that being at this weight is very unhealthy due to all my health issues, maybe Medicare could pay for it if I am admitted in the hospital for anyone of my health issues. I just know that I don t have any doctor that truly cares about my quality of life or my wellbeing that would do this for me if it can be done at all. I it is safe to get the surgery and help me but Medicare, denies paying it. Then I wouldn t be able to find a way to raise enough money to get the surgery done, once I paid my bills I am only left with less then $100 for a entire month. I don t even think that there are any doctors that would help a 41 year old single female with all these health issues, just on the single fact that they are caring enough to help without making money off of me. So what would you do if this was you or your daughter and didn t have the money and none of the doctors cared enough to help one person, who continues to get passed around like a cheap doll? I would be most grateful for advice on my health issues and on the fact that I am gaining weight everyday, with what my diet consists of I should be losing weight. I just don t understand?
