Suggest Treatment For Child Having Cylindrical Eye Power
My daughter is 3 years and 10 months. Within one week we got her eyes checked with 2 doctors. The first one said she has cylindrical 1.5 and 1.5. The second suggested RE 2.5 180degree and LE 1.75 180 degree cylindrical. So we are confused what to do next.. Also suggeest what the problem is actually with her eye. Is it must for her to wear glasses. What is the treatment t ?

Both your ophthalmologists have found a cylindrical error thus there is no doubt about the diagnosis.
You need to consult and follow one ophthalmologist for prescription of glasses.
The improvement of vision will be assessed after wearing the glasses.
Glasses are the treatment of choice for cylindrical error.
The error cannot be corrected even by LASIK.
