Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain While Having Elevated Cholesterol Levels

I am female, 65 years, no meds, elevated cholesterol. Was moving snow yesterday, not overly exerting but I am somewhat out of shape, and experienced what I think is muscle (pecs) pain across my chest. I also have a lump like feeling in the middle of my upper chest remaining today. The chest pain runs horizontally just above the top of my beasts. Is not disabling or sharp. I have no fatigue or nausea. My husband died of a heart attack over a year ago so my daughter is concerned. Any insight.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with chest pain that runs horizontally above your breast following a elevated cholesterol levels I will suggest you have developed a possible condition called Coronary arteriosclerosis (blood of heart vessels due to fat or injury)

In view of this please do a Coronary angiography to detect any blockage and schedule an appointment with a cardiologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Meanwhile please take tablet lipitor or pravachol Tylenol pending your appointment

I hope this helps Regards
