Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain, Sore Throat And Headache

Symptoms started last Monday with headache, sore throat and chest hurting. Advanced to fever (up and down, highest 101.6), cough super hard, nasty gunk, feels like bronchitis. Had flu shot. Took Theraflu night time and day time. Now taking decongestants. Fever went away yesterday morning. Still congested and nasty taste. I also take hot lemon water with honey. Apparently, there is a viral lung crud going around eastern Idaho. Any other helpful things I can do?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the viral infection only and it may not be anything else and some time it may not need any treatment unless it is being tolerated else one can have the symptomatic medicine, if the febrile condition persist then it may be looked for bacterial infection hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
