General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear-thanks for using our service, I understand your concern. Your husband has multiple sclerosis which is a degenerative nerve disease. This condition is associated with degeneration in the center that controls the equilibrium of blood pressure, which is a little ganglion in the neck area. That is why he is having drops in the blood pressure. The dizziness is due to the low blood pressure . He will need antibiotics for his chest congestion .Patient with multiple sclerosis are prone to infections due to problems with the immune system and decrease in the ability to fight against them. The voice is hoarse due to the infection too.I hope that my advise has been helpful.
