Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Vomiting In A Child
Hello, my baby is 7 month old and she is suffering from cough since last month. she is having chest congestion with on and off vomiting. but she hasn t fever and any wheezing sound. Her breathing is normal. she was having running nose but after taking medicines - Sinarest af, levolin syrup and advent syrup that stopped. but the chest congestion and vomiting are still there. should i continue with these medicines or change them. i m worried about her health now.please give me advice. thanks.
On seeing the medications given ur son shud have sufferred with chest infection associated with wheezing. In this condition there can be associated vomiting also.
If you have completed the five day course of advent you can very well stop it. Stop levolin too.
Now you can continue with sinarest for 3 more days. You can also use nasoclear nasal drops 1 drop in each nostril thrice a day.
Steam inhalation is advisable. Keep your baby in your lap and sit on the floor, keep hot water in a vessel (do not add anything to the hot water) and keep at little distance. Cover urself with a bed spread.this will help him.
