Suggest Treatment For Cataract

Please advise me regarding the use of prednisoline gtts for cataract surgery. I have pituitary insufficiency and am being treated with prednisone 7.5 mg. per day. Will the prednisolone affect my daily requirement of prednisone? Thank you for any advice you may be able to give me. Joan Marie Willson King, M.D.

You are taking 7.5mg as daily requirement. Post surgery you have to take hydro cortisone and antibiotic drop. It will be like any other normal person.
