Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore On Lower Lip

My 7 year old daughter has a canker sore in her lower lip. I am heading to the drug store to get some relief medicine as she has had it for a few days and she cant eat much bc it "Burns". What is the best medicine to get at the store to relieve the pain and to heal the sore the fastest? Any home remedies that work that don't burn (baking soda, hydrogen peroxide?) Thank you!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that your daughter is suffering from apthous ulcer or canker sore an as it is inflamed there is pain and burning sensatiob and sensitivity to spicy and hot foods...

I would suggest you to start gargling with warm saline solution.
Apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine over the ulcer...
Take a Vitamin B complex daily..
You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Take a soft and bland diet..
You can also suck ice and do cool water rinses..
In case of no improvement consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
