Suggest Treatment For Calf Pain While Having Fibromyalgia And Rheumatoid Arthritis
My mom has a-fib, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. She recently has been having trouble standing on her left leg. She says there are pains in her calf. She also said it feels like something is separating behind her knee. We are sure she needs to be seen by a Dr. but what kind of Dr.?
The symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Naproxen. I also recommend using cold compresses for local relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
