Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Yes, you have developed "Savlon Burn", which is actually an Irritant Reaction.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest topical application of a moderately potent steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05%, twice daily to the affected area. With this treatment the dermatitis should resolve within 5-7 days.
Topical steroids are prescription products, therefore you need to talk to your doctor for the needful.
I don't think the irritant dermatitis would leave a scar however, it may leave some post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation /PIH; PIH is a non-specific reaction to any inflammatory insult to skin.
If PIH is a concern, you may extend the use of the same topical steroid for another 2 weeks. That should make it fine.
Steroids are antiinflammatory and therefore would take care of the irritant reaction to savlon.

Regards
