Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Stomach

I have a hyatyl hernia and am on a ppi. I try to watch what I eat, but went out last night and ate a sauce that was too spicy. Had problem last night, have used gaviscon, and took pepcid last night also, so got to sleep, but it is really burning. Just took some more gaviscon. what else can I do? Should I eat anything? Had a bagel this morning, but had a turkey sandwich for lunch and half a peeled apple and it is not settling. What else can I do?

The gaviscon and pepsid are just symptom relievers and do not cure .You have not mentioned what PPI you are on check whether you can make it twice daily for a week with your dr or pharmacist
Avoid oily and spicy food
Please avoid eating out unless absolutely needed
Dont take any soft drinks or hot drinks
dont skip your meals .Eat small meals more frequently
If all these dont work check with a Gastroentero;ologist
