Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Stomach?

For the past 3 days I've been experiencing a burning sensation every time I eat or drink in my stomach. It goes down fine until it gets to my stomach and then it hurts for a couple of seconds, goes away until I swallow another bite. I did eat something new a few days ago, it was roasted Corn and black bean salad.I loved it! But the next day is when things started up. The salad had red pepper, tomato etc it had a little kick to it. I've been taking pepcid complete chewables for two days thinking that will help but not so far. Any ideas? Anything I can do to fix this?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain burning sensation in stomach while eating can be due to causes like hypracidity, Gastritis, H.Pylori infection, acid reflux etc..
As it is just 3 days it might not be anything serious and can resolve soon..
As of now you can start taking Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or omeprazole, continue with Pepcid that contain Famotidine and along with it you can also take antacids like Milk of magnesia half an hour before meals..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Avoid excess of tea and coffee and heavy meals..
Eat more of probiotics like Yoghurt in diet..
Take walk after meals..
In case of no resolution consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated..

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards..
