Hello Dear,
Thanx for showing interest in HCM.I can understand your concern regarding your symptoms. As you were on preventative antibiotics for years, So without consulting your doctor you should not start any antibiotics on yourself. sometimes resistance of bacteria to antibiotics can occur if you were on longer antibiotics treatment. I would adviced that you should immediate consult your doctor for complete evaluation of your symptoms.
Hope i have answered your query.Best wishes.
