Suggest Treatment For Burning Pain In Lower Right Abdomen

I am experiencing burning pain in my lower right abdomen (that;s me looking down at my body). The pain seems to come and go but has been worsening lately. I have been experiencing this for several months. It feels like it is protruding into my vagina at times. The pains comes and go. I have not determined what the onset signs are. I am 55 years-old, and trying not to worry. I have scheduled a colonoscopy. It will take a few weeks to get int. I need to have several different tests to eliminate possibilities and find out what nd where this pain is coming from. The burning sensation makes me want to go to the ER. I am perplexed, please advise me.

hi there.

this is dr jay

I would like to try and answer your issues

i think considering yourbage, you should be worried but not much. be assured the condition is manageable

provided your history, and without further investigations, your condition may he narrowed down to either Appendix or Ovary or Kidneys.

as the pain is colicky, in my opinion, most commonly it might be a small kidney stone or Ovarian issues.

until further evaluation, I suggest you drink plenty of water and antispasmodics for symptom alleviation

hope this helped and hope you a quick recovery

please do rate the answer and provide feedback
