Suggest Treatment For Bump On The Head After Injury In Kids

My 10 month old son fell and hit his head above his ear on the corner of the coffee table. He has a bump on his head which appeared rather quick. I don t know if this is a normal goose egg like reaction or if I should be worried since he hit his head above his ear

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
The bump after hitting is quite normal.
But you have to observe him for 48 hours for any vomiting, altered consciousness or convulsions.
You need to go to ER if any of the above symptoms are present as it indicates brain injury.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
