Suggest Treatment For Bump And Numbness In Nostril

Last week I woke up and my left nostril was completely numb. It stayed numb for about 5 hours, slowly allowing feeling to come back. It started to feel like pins and needles when the numbing went away. A few hours later I felt the inside of my nose and there was a large bump where the numbness was. It felt like I had a nose ring hole that closed up but I have never pierced my nose. There was a small scab over it that was unlike any color scab i ve ever had, more golden/light brown. My left nostril now looks more closed up than the right nostril. What could this be?

Dear many reasons for scab in the nose it may due to impetigo, or herpes simplex can cause fluid filled cysts turned into golden yellow scabs. It may due to nasal mucosa dryness may cause this problem. It may due to nose piercing scab, it may due to sunburn or sinus infection can cause scab formation. Infections this area can cause spread of infection to cavernous sinus. Treat early is important. Use humidifier and normal saline nasal spray frequently. Tab. Amoxillinclvulinate 625 thrice a day for 5days useful. Still symptoms persist please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
