Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Sides Of The Elbow

I am a base in competitive cheerleading. About a week ago I noticed the inside of my elbow looks bruised. I m not sure if it is from catching my flyer but my friend told me I probably popped a vein but I am unsure. It hurts when I bend it but I still have a full range of motion. I am unclear on if a vein has popped or what I should do. Thank you very much.

Hi and welcome to HCM,
From the information you have given it looks like you have had a mild trauma during your cheer leading activity. Fortunately since you have full range of movement there is nothing to worry about.
You can take some anti inflammatory tablets, like T Votaren 50mg after food, and apply some diclofenac ointment over the affected area.
All the very best health for you and your family!!!
