Suggest Treatment For Bruise On Spine Of A Toddler

Hello..I noticed about 3 weeks ago a huge bruise on my 20 month old daughter s spine. I chalked it up to being an active toddler. It went away slowly. A week later another huge bruise in pretty much the exact location. Last night I noticed another one. Large. In the same spot on spine. We re out of.towm visiting family for another 2 weeks..should . I be worried? Make an appointment to see her pediatrician when we return home

hiii..
I understand your concern.. bruising in a toddler can be attributed to them being active. but bruises appearing again and again on the same part of body, especially the larger sized ones, are not to be neglected. there might be some underlying bleeding disorder particularly if the bruising is occurring without any injury/trauma. if such presentations come to me, i would suggest blood work up including bleeding and clotting factors. i would suggest you to see a pediatrician soon if the bruises increase in number or get worse.
