I have had a bruise in the same spot on my lower shin for some years now. It never really goes away. I have asked my dr about it but he didnt seem concerned or interested in further discussion or investigation. I don t think this is normal. Should I be concerned? it is larger than a 50cent piece and there are usually 2 that are visible
hi, thank you for asking on HCM. as per your history, you have bruise over your skin for a year, that could indicate a nutrient deficiency , bleeding disorder. my treatment advise would be: 1. take vitamin c rich food like lemon, gooseberry, oranges etc and take tab vitamin c 500 mg once a day. 2. get your platelets checked after consulting a doctor. 3. also, take vitamin k rich food like cabbage, broccoli and green leafy vegetables. 4. you may apply aloe Vera gel twice a day over the area. 5. you may go for lasers after consulting a dermatologist. wishing you healthy skin. thank you
