Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

I have bronchitis symptoms. My sinuses and head are clear, but i have a rattle way down deep in my lungs. Ive had for about a week. Not getting better. This evening i Took 4 oz of an OTC expectorant syrup.

Got any suggestions?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bronchitis which could be due to upper respiratory tract infection, allergic bronchitis and chronic pulmonary disease.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit pulmonologist once and get chest X-ray done. You should go for pulmonary function tests as well along with blood and sputum test and get it examined. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should take combination of bronchodilators and antihistamine drug along with proper course of antibiotics. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take steam inhalation and cough expectorants.
