Suggest Treatment For Breathlessness Upon Little Exertion And Exhaustion
I have looked up the symptoms of COPD and I am experiencing some of them. Shortness of breath with very little exertion, mild exhaustion, hard to take a full breath. I seem to be ok when not doing anything. I had about 90% blockage of my lungs from blood clots 10 years ago and have been on blood thinners ever since. I have never smoked anything but was getting second hand smoke at work years ago. I am 55 years old and obese, have been all my life, I also have MS since 1990 and wondered if that could be cause of what I am feeling now.
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. From your detailed description I can understand that you are having COPD and MS both of which can cause breathlessness on exertion. I advise you to continue your COPD medication and blood thinners. You have not mentioned degree of MS in ECHO report. Level of breathlessness varies with degree of MS. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
