Suggest Treatment For Boil On Gum

Hi, My 5 year old son has got a boil like thing on his gum just above his front teeth. It was black earlier now it has turned white. What could be the reason. Do I need to show the doctor. His front teeth are not there. He has lost it at the age of 1.5 completely as he had a fall. We have undergone a root canal of the front two teeth s at the age of 2 as per doctor s suggestions. Doctor had said that he will get his new teeth s properly. Please suggest why does the boil occur. Thank you, Rains

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The boil over the gum can be because of the tooth or gum infection around the front teeth. Since you are telling it is already been treated endodontically, the possible cause can be the gum infection which has resulted in pus formation. Nothing to be panic, consult a pediatric dental surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can give a course of antibiotics like amoxycillin.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
