Suggest Treatment For Blood Retention In Lower Legs Causing Painful Swelling
My friend is 96 yrs of age. Blood pools in his lower legs. His heart stops beating for anywhere from 20 to 40 seconds, several times a day. Would a pacemaker help to circulate his blood more evenly so that his legs wouldn t swell so painfully? Thank for your help.

Yes, pacemaker will work for him but needs several tests. exercise can be tried too at this age if it's found not suitable via imaging and ECG studies too.
