Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine

Hello Doctor, i am 35 years old married man .yesterday afternoon, while urinating ,i noticed blood cells along with last few drops of urine.I was in office that time .After reaching home when i checked , i have noticed a small cut inside the tip of penis head.I was surprised to see this ,as how that wound came inside the penis head . I used to drink enough water daily. Now i am suspecting , it can be due to kidney stone (my guess..!!) ..I do not have any stomach pain or back pain as of now ..Kindly advice me to whom i should consult to diagnose this . Thanks in advance. Sreejith

Hi thanks for contacting HCM ..

You can consult physician for your case ...

Here blood in urine can be from many causes.
Detail history and physical examination has to be done ....

If history of unprotected intercourse then it could be from STD sexually transmitted disease like gonorrhea or chlamydia ....
If ulcer seen it could be herpes or syphilis.
Serological test useful for these diagnosis ...

Urine microscopic examination done ...

If pus cells seen bacterial UTI , cystitis or kidney infection can be the cause ....
USG abdomen also done for it ....
Proper antibiotic given with fluids more ....

Although chance of malignancy minimal but if any suspected growth present in urinary tract biopsy done .....

If needed physician will consult you to nephrologists..

Take care .

Hope your concern solved...
