Hi, I just burned my hand with hot oil today, I put my hand under cold water stright away, after that I got some blister around the burned area! Then I went to the chemist I got some sticker to put it on top the burned area and I have to leave it there about 6-7 days, I m not sure if that will help me and!! Can you please advice me what to do more about it? Regards Thank you

Hi
The treatment of burns depends on its intensity.Just small blisters suggest a minor burn and may not need any special medications. The following may help you
-Do not break the small blisters. If any breaks, just apply an antibiotic ointment and cover with gauze
-Apply moisturizer or aloe vera gel or Vaseline.
-If pain too intense, you may add pain medications like ibuprofen.
If the blisters are large, you will need to see the Doctor for removal as large blisters will hardly remain intact.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
