hello, i am 4 weeks pregnant and i took 2 cytotec and 2 inserted vaginally at around 8pm, and then when i woke up 6am i saw my panty and short soaked with blood and i got up to bathe...and i felt 2 clots passed and i saw it then by before 8 am it stop.....what happen to my pregnancy, was it already aborted? thank you.
You had taken Cytotec tablets which do terminate the pregnancy. The bleeding you had was due to the process of abortion. You have passed 2 clots. Have you noted whether one of it was white coloured. Passing of such clot indicates that the products of conception have been expelled out and abortion is complete.
This bleeding will stop within 24-48 hours. If it continues even after that, it suggests incomplete abortion. You may undergo ultrasonography to confirm the completeness of abortion; if not, you may have to report to a Gynaecologist to get it completed by surgical evacuation of the uterine cavity.
I hope this helps you today.
