Hi,

Your symptoms are suggestive of urinary tract infection.

I suggest you investigate with urine routine microscopic examination for primary work up.

You can be prescribed nitrofurantoin and cefixime like an antibiotic course for UTI.

Drink lots of water to maintain hydration. Avoid the intake of excess spicy foods. Potassium citrate containing syrup also can be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
