Suggest Treatment For Arthritis In The Neck And Shoulder

I can only sleep on my sides. I wake up 2-4 times a night and my downside arm is painfully numb. This has been going on for a while, but is getting worse. Also, my right arm goes numb when I grip something, like the handrail on a treadmill or the grips on a bike. Both arms will eventually go numb if I cross them on my chest while sitting or lying down. I have had shoulder (right) problems before - frozen/locked, and I probably tore something years ago playing softball. I can t throw anymore. My family doctor says arthritis in my neck and shoulder. At one point I did get a cortisone shot in my right shoulder and went for PT (for frozen/locked shoulder).
